I have been a co-founder and organizer for the experimental border based stream,festival and art show Miraaa since 2021.

Miraaa 2021

Miraaa Media Fest 2021 was a live stream showcasing film and artwork by artists in the Rio Grande Valley or in relation to the borderlands.

We programmed over 40 artists from the borderlands through a virtual exhibit, film livestream, interviews and a virtual dance party.

Five films were commissioned and created by collaborative efforts by curated Rio Grande Valley artists.

Miraaa Media Fest 2024

was a dual event hosted in borderland cities Harlingen, TX and Laredo, TX. The art exhibit and film festival commissar collaborations from artists in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo area. The festival also showcased filmmakers from both cities and had a open call. Community chosen films were juried and given prizes.
